Anastasia Alekhina (1989) — interdisciplinary artist and researcher.

Graduate of the Doctoral School of Art and Design at HSE University (2024), Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia (2015), and the Media Performance Lab at MMOMA (2012). Guest lecturer at the British Higher School of Art and Design, ITMO University, HSE University, National University of Science and Technology «MISIS» and others. Participant of Russian and international exhibitions and festivals. Nominated for the «STARTS Prize 2021» at Ars Electronica Festival (Austria). Winner of the «Art&Science: Open Bodies 2024» competition at PERMM Museum. Finalist of the «Art and Technology 2019» grant program by Garage Museum and the «Nova Art 2019» competition.

Through her projects, the artist explores aesthetic and existential questions of modernity, human identity, the future of wearable devices, and corporeality. Works with sound in experimental directions.

Research interests: art&science&technology, wearable devices, robotics, posthumanist philosophy, 20th-century art history.
